NANO HONE Diamond

Diamond resin plates for NANO RASP and Edge Pro style jigs. The honeycomb matrix is an original design by Hap Stanley. This resin is much softer than anything else on the market. Which allows the surface of the plates to be maintained more easily. This binder is environmentally friendly, slightly hydrophilic, and very tough. Sharpening can be done completely dry or with a few drops of water. We also recommend a light coating of very light oil like camellia oil on the surface of the plates from time to time. This evens out the scratches and improves the polish. We also recommend finishing at each grit with stropping (trailing edge) strokes. This really evens out the scratches. Working with this abrasive is different from traditional water stones and formaldehyde-based resins. it requires a lot less pressure than those mediums.
