TSPROF Carbon Guide Rod, assembled, matte

Features:
The carbon guide rod is significantly lighter than a steel one, so your hands will fatigue much less during operation.
One end of the rod is fitted with a threaded bushing for installing the ball handle. The smooth carbon shaft provides minimal friction and smooth sliding, increasing sharpening accuracy.
After the mutual run-in of the shaft and the bushing of the hinge unit, no extraneous noise will distract you during work. The only sound you want to hear is the sound of abrasive grains removing metal.
The two parts of the rod are connected by an aluminum coupling with matte black anodizing, which ensures reliable fixation of the connected rod sections over the contact area through cylindrical bushings with holes. The rod ends are inserted into the side holes of the coupling bushing.
Positioning control is carried out through an opening in the lower part of the bushing. When rotated, the nuts shift the clamping bushings upward, securing the rod ends through the misalignment of the holes. This mounting method ensures reliable fixation and complete immobility of the parts during operation.
Matte black anodizing extends the service life of aluminum parts by creating a wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant coating on the surface. This technology provides a deep color and a pleasant texture. The coating does not fade over time and protects the metal from aggressive environmental exposure. Thanks to anodizing, you get a surface with a durable finish that looks good and needs little maintenance.
Attention!
The carbon rod is not intended for installing accessories with screw fixation. Securing holders, travel limiters, parking elements, or the coupling bushing to the rod using screws will lead to irreversible damage to the surface of the product.
